YOUR STORY COMES FIRST

Want to understand more?
Begin with a clear question

Results or family history can understandably leave you wanting more information. But more tests do not always provide more useful answers.

Screening and diagnosis answer different questions. Results can be inaccurate, and some need confirmation. Understand these limits before choosing.

Your doctor reviews what you want to know and how a result would change care. Sometimes existing information is enough; sometimes further testing or referral is appropriate.

Private, nonjudgmental conversations. Your consultations are kept confidential.

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

Questions you

Your remaining questions to your doctor

Can genetic tests tell my future with certainty?

Some genetic information helps indicate risk, not certainty that disease will occur. It must be interpreted with history and other factors.

Can tumor markers confirm that I do not have cancer?

No. Some markers change in noncancerous conditions, and some cancers have normal levels. Use depends on context and does not replace standard screening.

Can multi-cancer screening replace every other test?

No. If you choose it, understand limitations and confirmatory follow-up. A negative result does not certify the absence of every cancer.

Is food IgG the same as allergy testing?

No. Expert guidance does not recommend food IgG for diagnosing food allergy or intolerance. Testing should begin with symptoms and assessment.

Should I start with the largest package?

Start with the question you want answered. Then consider how more information would change care, alongside costs and follow-up.
