YOUR STORY COMES FIRST

Differences in anatomy
Do not necessarily mean an abnormality

Scrotal shape and tightness vary and can change with temperature or activity. If something concerns you, begin by discussing it and having an assessment.

Your doctor distinguishes appearance concerns from lumps, swelling or pain that need investigation. Care begins with examination findings rather than comparison images.

A procedure may not be necessary. If botulinum toxin is considered here, discuss its off-label use, limited evidence, risks and plans for children.

Private, nonjudgmental conversations. Your consultations are kept confidential.

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

Questions you
May be asking

Explore one topic at a time, then bring
Your remaining questions to your doctor

Is Scrotal Contour surgery?

The current menu lists botulinum toxin, not skin removal. Your doctor must assess whether your goal fits this approach.

Will it increase size or sexual performance?

Scrotal shape care should not be expected to increase penile size or treat erection difficulties. Those concerns require separate assessment.

Is this suitable for everyone?

No. Scrotal botulinum toxin use is outside commonly registered indications. Discuss the limited evidence, risks and alternatives with your doctor first.

If I have a lump or pain, should I begin with aesthetic care?

Have the cause assessed first. In particular, sudden severe scrotal pain requires immediate hospital care. Do not wait for an aesthetic appointment.

What should I ask at the consultation?

Ask about realistic expectations, temporary or permanent effects, risks to sensation and function, activity restrictions and follow-up, including the option of doing nothing for now.
